Honey Teriyaki Beef and Asparagus

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 lb beef tenderloin, cubed
  • 1/4 tsp each salt, freshly ground pepper and hot pepper flakes
  • 1 bunch (about 1 lb) asparagus, trimmed and chopped
  • 1 orange, cut into half moon slices
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 sachet (140 mL) Blue Dragon Honey Teriyaki Stir Fry Sauce
  • 1 bundle Blue Dragon Soba Noodles
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds


  1. Heat the oil in a wok or large sauté pan and set over high heat. Season beef with salt, pepper and hot pepper flakes. 
  2. Add to pan and stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes until browned and still pink inside. Transfer to plate.
  3. Add asparagus, orange slices, garlic, and ginger; stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until tender crisp. Add orange juice, rice vinegar and Blue Dragon Honey Teriyaki Stir Fry Sauce to the wok; return beef to wok and cook until heated through.
  4. Serve with Blue Dragon Soba Noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds.
