  • About 2 cups (450 g) macaroni 
  • 8 oz (227 g) fresh mushrooms
  • 2-3 celery ribs, sliced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • 1 package (340 g) vegetarian ground round
  • 2 tablespoons (30 mL) oil
  • 2 sachets Blue Dragon General Tao Stir Fry Sauce


  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, and add 1 tablespoon (15 mL) of the oil. Add the onions and sauté, stirring occasionally, for a few minutes. Add the mushrooms, celery, and red pepper, and sauté a few minutes more, until the peppers have softened slightly. Remove vegetables and set aside.
  3. Add the other tablespoon (15 mL) oil to the same skillet, and stir-fry the vegetarian ground round until warmed through. Add the vegetables to the vegetarian ground round, then add the pasta. Pour the General Tao Stir Fry Sauce over top, and mix well.
