This sweet, summer caramel corn is so simple to make. Tossed in sesame oil and topped with toasted sesame seeds it’s also perfect for sharing. Serve in bowls, so family and friends can grab a handful whenever the mood strikes. And trust us, it will strike often.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups popcorn
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 2 tsp corn syrup
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp of Blue Dragon Sesame Oil
  • Coarse salt, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place brown sugar, cream, butter, corn syrup, and ginger in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer for 10 min, until caramel like texture. Add Blue Dragon Sesame Oil to the caramel for 2 additional minutes on the stove.
  2. Pop 3 cups of popcorn.
  3. Take popcorn and place into a bowl, ladle in caramel and gently toss until covered and golden brown. Finish with coarse salt and sesame seeds.
