Tomato, Szechuan pepper, and spicy chilli flakes combine to make a perfect bun substitute, or enjoy these Szechuan Pepper Portobello Caps on their own. They do pack a little punch though, so we hope you like it spicy!


  • 2 large Portobello caps
  • 180ml of Blue Dragon Szechuan Pepper Stir Fry Sauce


  1. Prior to cooking, coat the Portobello caps in the Blue Dragon Szechuan Pepper Stir Fry Sauce and let sit for at least one hour before cooking
  2. Place on barbecue at medium heat
  3. Ensure the Portobellos are soft and cooked through, remove from heat and use as a substitute for a burger bun, or eat alone
