Add some Asian flair to your barbecue with this Sweet Chilli Grilled Corn on the Cob recipe. Sweet, spicy, and a little smokey, we promise you’ll never look at barbecued corn the same way again.


  • 6 large cobs of corn
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 100ml of Blue Dragon Sweet Chilli Sauce

Dry ingredients

  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • 1 tsp of coarse sea salt
  • 1 tsp of cracked black pepper


  1. Pull the outer husks towards the base without removing them. Strip away the silk from each ear of corn and set them aside.
  2. Melt the butter down in the microwave in a microwave safe bowl. Remove the butter from the microwave and mix in the Blue Dragon Sweet Chilli Sauce in a bowl

Dry ingredients

  1. Rub the butter and sauce mixture all over the exposed kernels of the corn and fold the husks back up into place
  2. Place the corn, in their husks on the barbecue at medium-high heat for 15 to 20 minutes, turning every 5 minutes, or until the kernels are tender when pierced
  3. Remove the corn from the barbecue and safely remove the remaining husks
  4. lightly dust the kernels with the dry mixture
  5. Ensure the corn has sufficiently cooled down and serve
