We may not be Australian, but it’s definitely time to put another shrimp on the barbie! These easy-to-make Sesame Shrimp and Veggie Kabobs blend Blue Dragon Sesame Oil with Italian Dressing for a meal you’ll be singing about all summer long.


  • 1/2 cup prepared Italian dressing
  • 2 tsp Blue Dragon Sesame Oil
  • Pinch hot pepper flakes
  • 1 lb (453 grams) peeled deveined shrimp (16-20 count)
  • 1 red pepper, seeded and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 green pepper, seeded and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 16 white mushrooms
  • 16 cherry tomatoes

Sriracha Mayo

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp sriracha sauce
  • 1 tsp lime zest
  • 1 tsp Blue Dragon Sesame Oil


  1. Combine Italian dressing, Blue Dragon Sesame Oil and hot pepper flakes; toss half with shrimp. Toss remaining dressing with peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes. Let stand for 20 minutes.
  2. Thread shrimp, peppers, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes onto skewers.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat; grease grate well.
  4. Grill skewers for 5 to 7 minutes or until shrimp are pink and opaque and mushrooms and peppers are tender.

Sriracha Mayo

  1. Stir together mayonnaise, lime juice, garlic, sriracha, lime zest and Blue Dragon Sesame Oil. Serve with skewers.


For a lighter option, use light mayonnaise.
