Fish Burgers with Homemade Tartar Sauce

Seafood is a BBQ staple, and let’s be honest, everything is better when it can be served on a bun. Reel in these fish burgers topped with a twist on traditional Tartar Sauce. Just mix in some Blue Dragon Fish Sauce and you’re set!

Ingredients

  • 4 frozen prepared fish burgers
  • 2 tbsp Blue Dragon Hoisin Sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 8 slices tomato

Homemade Tartar Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp capers, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • 1 dill pickle, finely diced (or 4 cornichons)
  • 1 tsp Blue Dragon Fish Sauce
  • 1 tsp Blue Dragon Sesame Oil
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Pinch pepper

Instructions

  1. Grill burgers according to package directions, basting with Blue Dragon Hoisin Sauce during last 2 minutes of cooking time. Grill buns for 1 – 2 minutes, or until toasted. Set aside.

Homemade Tartar Sauce

  1. Mix together mayonnaise, capers, lime juice, dill pickle, Blue Dragon Fish Sauce, Blue Dragon Sesame Oil, mustard and pepper.
  2. Spread bottom of hamburger buns evenly with tartar sauce. Layer lettuce, tomato slices and fish burger over top; cap with remaining buns.

Notes

For a lighter option, use light mayonnaise instead.
