A simple dish that will become a favourite in the weekly repertoire. This chicken chow mein is made with bamboo shoots and baby sweet corn!


  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 1 pack baby corn cobs, sliced in half
  • 1 can bamboo shoots, drained
  • 1 jar Blue Dragon Chow Mein Cooking Sauce


  1. In a frying pan, add the oil and chicken and fry until starting to colour and until the meat is sealed. 
  2. Add the sweetcorn and bamboo shoots and cook for a further minute.
  3. Then add the sauce. Simmer for 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked and tender. Serve with rice or egg noodles.
