BBQ Chicken Sliders with Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground chicken
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 sachet (140 mL) Blue Dragon Broccoli Beef Stir Fry Sauce
  • 2 tsp Blue Dragon Fish Sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp each salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 12 slider buns, split and toasted

Sliders

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high; grease grate well. Mix together ground chicken, green onions, bread crumbs, egg, 2 tbsp Blue Dragon Broccoli Beef Stir Fry Sauce, Blue Dragon Fish Sauce, garlic, salt and pepper. Divide into 12 portions. Shape each into 1/2-inch thick patties.
  2. Stir remaining Blue Dragon Broccoli Beef Stir Fry Sauce with BBQ sauce. Grill patties, turning and basting patties with BBQ sauce mixture for 10 to 12 minutes, or until no longer pink and internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tsp grainy mustard
  • 1/4 tsp each salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 pkg (12 oz) coleslaw mix

Coleslaw

  1. Stir together mayonnaise, cilantro (if using), lime juice, mustard, salt and pepper. Toss with coleslaw mix.
  2. Assemble burgers in buns with some coleslaw. Serve remaining slaw on the side.

Notes

If desired, add a fresh chopped finger chile to the slaw for a spicy kick.
