Ingredients

  • 2 pounds minced meat (beef or pork)
  • 2 teaspoons (10 mL) Blue Dragon Sesame Oil
  • 1 cup (250 mL) Panko-style breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 mL) ground ginger
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • chives, to taste
  • 2 eggs

Meatballs

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix first 7 ingredients together. 
  3. Shape into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. 
  4. Bake for about 15 minutes (or until the inside is no longer pink)

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup (160 mL) Blue Dragon Hoisin Sauce
  • 1/4 cup (125 mL) garlic-seasoned rice vinegar (or add 3 or 4 finely chopped garlic cloves to regular rice vinegar)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 mL) soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon (5 mL) ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon (5 mL) Blue Dragon Sesame Oil

Sauce

  1. While the meatballs are cooking, mix the rest of the ingredients together in a saucepan. Heat for a few minutes on low heat.
  2. Dip each meatball into the sauce. If desired, add sesame seeds to taste.
